At Bethany Learning Center, we are dedicated to providing a warm and Christ-centered environment that fosters the holistic development of children from infancy to pre-K. Our classes are thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs of each age group, from the tender care given to babies in our infant program to the engaging and enriching experiences offered to our pre-K students. Our curriculum seamlessly integrates faith, love, and learning, creating a foundation for a lifetime of spiritual and academic success. Pre-school/full day
2's Class – Age 18 months-2 years
The Abeka Christian based curriculum is used to introduce and practice developmentally appropriate language, number, social, motor, creativity, and problem solving skills through guided play, quality literature, music, and arts and crafts. Playtime becomes learning time providing a strong academic foundation. Stories of the Bible and God’s love plant seeds of faith throughout the year.
Preschool/full day
3's Class – Age 2 and 3
The Abeka curriculum aims to create a balanced educational experience that combines academic rigor with a Christian worldview. In the 3’s class children continue to engage with high-quality literature as part of its curriculum. This helps students develop strong reading skills and exposes them to meaningful content. Children also continue to grow in math, science, social skills, and language arts.
Pre-kindergarten
4's and 5's Class – Age 4 and 5
The Abeka prekindergarten curriculum, along with Maryland State preschool standards, review and expand upon previously learned language, number, motor, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Structured, developmentally appropriate instruction and guided play allow meaningful concepts to be discovered and learned. Establishing a deeper understanding of God’s love and enhanced relationships with teachers and peers help guide social, emotional, and moral learning. Completion of our preschool program prepares students for a smooth transition and academic success in public or private kindergarten.
